I am very pleased with this GPS, I like the battery backup with regular batterys and the ability to have a rechargeable battery. The unit worked right out of the box and found the course I was playing. I also had to map one course and it was very easy. I also like not having to pay a yearly fee. I tried other units and I have also played golf with others that have different GPS' and range finders. This unit was just as accurate as the ones they were using. Range finder could not see greens that were obstructed.

Great product although you need to go on line to update all the courses in your location. That was an easy process to do. Very happy with it.

Used the Golf Buddy several times on my favorite courses and not happy with the accuracy. It would pickup the wrong holes at times. Battery seems to last for advertised time, seems easy to use. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 5.

I looked at the Golf Buddy Tour range finder a few days ago on Amazon and it was priced $238. Today I went on Amazon to buy it and see that it is now $288. The lower price I saw did not say anything about a "special" for a few days so I took my time as I was away from home. Result, of course, a $50 hike. Nice work Amazon, but I am afraid you can keep your Golf Buddy there. And the other things I was going to order.

Love the Buddy.. fast setup ,,,great backlighting,,,accurate.. all it needs is a hole overview with hazzard yardage....
